Obssessed? No....

So i know that i promised i wouldn't wait so long in between posts but i've been super busy...SEEING TWILIGHT. I read the whole series a few months ago and L.O.V.E.D. it! I couldn't wait to see the movie, i figured it wouldn't be as good as the book, but still amazing and...it was. I've only seen it 6times in 5days...It's seriously so addicting- i could spend the whole day in a dark movie theater watching that movie over and over and over again. When you see it, you'll know why. Did i mention that i LOVE Edward?! Well i do and i have another date with him tonight, i'm sharing him with Jennifer tonight-aren't i such a great friend? She hasn't seen it as many times, just 3, so i have to help her get her fix of it. I think after seeing it 9 or 10 times(i have to take my mom to see it, and i might even have to go on turkey day...)I'll be fine and able to go a day without seeing it. It'll be weird and i don't know how i'll ever survive...maybe just having dreams about it...Anyways i hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving and if you haven't seen the best movie EVER-GO SEE IT!!

We Rock!

We Rock We rock we rock we rock on...
A little piece of Camp Rock right there-but we totally rock because on Sunday we played Guitar Hero in the auditorium at church and it was super fun! Our college group "Fusion" has movie nights on Sunday nights and last Sunday we couldn't figure out where to have it, so i thought of having it at church. Our worship leader, Troy, is the audio director at church and he has connections for getting in the auditorium, so i asked him if we could have it there! He's super nice and he let us use it and set all the stuff up and everything-and let us play with the sound board and cameras/headphones/equip/etc...and everyone had a great time! We watched Blank Check(which we haven't seen in forever so we couldn't quote it the whole time-sorry guys, we know you missed that!) haha but after the movie we played GH again-on stage, pretty awesome-i know right, and we pretty much rocked..and nathan wanted to pack it up and head out..what was he thinking? JK thanks for always supplying us with GH! Here are some crazy pics from movie/GH night! I'm really going to stop blogging now, it's just that i haven't in so long!

What is this you ask? Well it's a website for Twilight lovers of course! I found it on my fav blog--Other than my sister's of course! Long Time No Blog

Ok SERIOUSLY, it's been like forever since i updated my blog! So far my blog only has one post-super sad right? I posted the first one when i first joined Blogger and i haven't really had time to write another one. I know you're thinking Umm..Kori, you're not in school right now and all you ever do is babysit,housesit bake and go to church! Well i'm here to tell you that all of that stuff i do takes up a lot of my time! It started three weeks ago when i house/dog/fishsat for Lane&Adam(She's been one of my mommy's BFF's since i was like 7 and i watch their two kids Athena,5 and Aaron,2 every week-and she's preggo with a boy/girl-we don't know yet. YAY! When they go on trips i stay at their house and watch over it, their 5 Alaskan Huskies and their 10 Fish tanks!) Yes, you read that right-they really do have 5dogs and 10fish tanks with a thousand fish in them-they're DEF animal lovers, that's for sure! Anywho-back to my explanation of why i've been so super busy...I house/fish/dogsat for them for a week and not to mention i went back and forth to babysit for my other peeps while i was staying in Tempe. After they came home, i spent the next week watching Brooklyn while Kiki and Justin took Weslie and Chayse to Disneyland for Chayse's 5th bday. They had a blast and so did Brookie and I here in Phx, where it was starting to actually cool off! Afterall...it is OCTOBER for crying out loud! Only in AZ would it be October and it still be 100degrees outside! So while Brookie was here i babysat for Michelle and watched Michael,Lucy and Brooke. Three 2yr olds...enough said. They're all super sweet kids but they all have problems with SHARING. But then again, what 2yr old doesn't?We played outside-they have a huge sport court with a basketball court, volleyball and tennis court, tetherball and a bunch of bikes/scooters/skateboards/cars/etc..so we spent most of the day out there and i have some cute pics of them playing together. I'll post a few from the past couple of weeks that will complete the recap of my busy-ness.

Moving on...after that TiffERnee and I spent a week at our Next Generation Pastor Nathan Rouse's(Rappin Rouster) house watching their two boys Ethan,5 and Landon,3 while they went up to UCYC in Prescott for the staff retreat. Even though we had to wake up super early(NO it was not 10:00a.m.-which is the normal "early" for us) we had to wake up @6:00 in the morning to get Ethan ready for school! I have one thing to say about this- Boys are much much much much much much easier to get ready for school than girls are! They just wake up, eat, get dressed&brush their teeth and they're ready to go! Most of the time i didn't hear Tiff's alarm...so i kinda slept in i guess you could say...but she didn't try to wake me up(which was prob for the best :) Thanks Tiff!!) Anywho, can i just say how great, fun, sweet,caring and hilarious kids they are?! They were soooo good that by the end of the week when Rouse was coming home, we were ready to still stay and have sleepovers with them and keep teaching them how to play Guitar Hero and watch them teach us how to play SSX(some snowboarding game...don't even ask!) Your'e prob wondering about it so i'll tell you a little bit-they LOVE this game so much that if all they got to do all day was play it-they'd be happy campers! Every morning before school they wanted to play it and when the intro came on they would both do their dance to the "tricky" song. We had that song in our head everyday-"It's tricky...rock around to rock around..it's tricky!" We stunk at it but they were pros-we'll stick to GH! Oh and did i mention that they are the cutest things when they sing songs! Every morning on the way to school we said a little prayer and listened to K-LOVE and they would sing EVERY song! Ethan can go way high and when we told him he was a great singer, he just looked at us and went "Why thank you Miss Kori and Miss Tiffany, i know i am!" I wonder if he's heard that before? And he actually got our names right that time- all week they would call us by each others names..it's not like we look alike or act like sisters or anything, is it? No...people never ask us that! Haha well we had a great time with them and can't wait to watch them again!

The very next day after we were done watching the boys i went back to Tempe to house/dog/fishsit. Only for four days this time! Any longer than that and my allergies kick in. I don't really have many allergies but i'm def allergic to these dogs! I love being there and hanging out with them but i can never stop sneezing and blowing my nose :( Sad day! Over the weekend there were so many things going on in Fusion and i couldn't do any of them! I either had to babysit or go back to Tempe. Friday night was girls scrapbooking(scrapping-where everyone tries to beat each other up...or NOT! Idk where Nathan comes up with these things...) night, i would have gone but i babysat til late and then went back to the house, but we did see HSM3-Best movie EVER! Haha not really but it was really good. I think Katie,Tiffany and i laughed through pretty much the ENTIRE thing but i can't wait to see it again when i take Weslie and Chayse! Then Saturday morning a bunch of us went and helped a lady from church move...that was quite an adventure. She was really nice..she was just very particular and loved to tell everyone what to do and how to do it..nah what i mean? My fav part was after we were all done and we had a "Pizza Party" in the backyard. The house lady has this area outside for parties..it's super cool!...later that night was the "Backyard Campout" in Tandrea's(Tim and Andrea's)backyard. We wanted to go camping for REAL but i guess it didn't work out? I'll have to get on that and actually make it happen...but the campout thing was fun, Katie and I went for a little bit because our bbsitting jobs were cancelled at the last minute. We had a bonfire and made yummy cookies for Steven's birthday-Ella made white chip chocolate cookies from one of my recipes-i guess they're his fav? Joshie helped and they were quite a success! Speaking of baking--i need to figure out what i'm baking for our Halloween party on friday! I have so many ideas and recipes i want to try out, but i don't want everyone to ralph from all the sweets! All i can say to you peeps is you better come HUNGRY!!!

I've basically recapped the last 3weeks..kinda long-i'll try not to let it go that long before i blog again!!

The Ice Princesses

So my sister has been asking me for months, "Kori, why don't you have a blog?!" I would always say, "What would i blog about? Me babysitting and going to school...fun stuff!" But some crazy stuff happened last night and i figured that would be a good start to blogging....So...

Last night a bunch of my friends and i took my nieces ice skating! They saw the movie Ice Princess on the disney channel and they've been asking me to take them ever since! So we all met up and went to the Ice Den in Scottsdale-you could def tell it was Scottsdale when they gave you your skates because they were way nicer than the ice rink in Peoria! Anyways, we went to get our skates and after making like 5 trips back and forth asking for a bigger size-Weslie said she was a 12 but didn't like how the skates felt on her feet so she ended up being a size 2, and Chayse kept saying they were too tight-even though ice skates are supposed to be tight! Meanwhile one of our friends, Tyler, was out on the ice warming up his mad ice skating skills-he's a hockey player and has some sweet skills-but i guess some kids got in the way and he was going too fast and he took a narley fall and his head went straight onto the ice! None of us saw this happen because we were still dealing with our skate sizes so this guy comes over to me and asks me if i'm this guy's friend- i thought he meant some little kid got hurt and said no-but then i looked over and saw Tyler bleeding all over the place! we walked over to see what happened and it turned out he needed to go to the hospital and get stitches. I wasn't able to take him because i drove Weslie, Chayse,Tiffany and Katie so good ol' Nathan stepped up and drove him to the hospital where they had to wait for awhile and then get 10 stitches on his upper right eye!

After all that crazyness happened, the rest of us stepped into the rink and attempted to skate on ICE! Both of the girls needed extra support so Katie and I held Chayse's hands and Tiffany took on Weslie. It turned out that Weslie was really good and wanted to go off by herself but she would fall every 5seconds so she was covered in ice by the time we were done. Chayse on the other hand...did NOT like it when we went faster than a snail! She would freak out if we went any faster so we stayed at that pace for awhile but by the end we all turned pro! The girls didn't want to take a break and eat dinner so afterwards we went to Islands and everyone scarffed down cheeseburgers! But before we could do that, we need to somehow get Tyler's car back to his house so Tiffany drove his car and Nathan followed her to Tyler's house and then they met up with us at Desert Ridge.

We had just started to order when this girl came up with an apron full of balloons and of all people, DAVID yells out "Yay the Balloon Lady! Can you make me a monkey?" we all laughed and she made Wes a pink unicorn with a really cool "corn" as Tiffany likes to call it and Chayse got a pink and purple butterfly, which the wing popped right when we left! After we stopped by the fountains and the girls asked a hundred times if they could have Cold Stone...at 10:30 at night..that's a NEGATIVE!! They fell right asleep on the way home, they were way tired from all of the excitement that night, and so was i! when we got home we fell right asleep but before we went to bed they said to me, "Kori thank you soooo much for taking us ice skating! it was the best night EVER! it was super fun! can we go every saturday and have a sleepover?" All in all it was a fun night! We hope you feel better soon Tyler!! Now we're off to Pastor Appreciation Night at church so see ya later peeps :)
